Deodorant - not filled with chemicals (all of the ingredients are edible) that actually WORKS! It has been tested on stinky man-pits, woman-pits & teen-pits with great success.
It is kind of fun to make and couldn't be simpler.
For coco-licious pits:
4 parts cornstarch
4 parts baking soda
3 parts coconut oil (solid at room temperature)
optional - a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil (I like lemon and they say tea tree is "manly")
mix it all up until you can form it into a ball
A small pea size amount schmeared into each pit does the trick.
The cornstarch helps to keep you feeling dry. The baking soda is a natural odor absorber (that's why you keep a fresh box in your fridge, right?). The coconut oil is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-funk and gives the mixture some sticking power.
As for "parts" - teaspoons will give you a travel/sample size. Tablespoons are nice because 4t =1/4 c. If you use tablespoons, you will end up w/ a little less than 3/4 cup worth of deodorant (enough to last you a good long time).
No, it is not antiperspirant - though I found that after a couple of weeks (give or take) I was sweating less from my pits because they weren't struggling to get something past the chemical wall they formerly faced in their attempts to do their job. After all, our armpits sweat for a reason.
If you have to run out of the house without a shower the next day, a nice cotton swab w/ a bit of rubbing alcohol (or hand sanitizer) will kill any lingering odor causing bacteria you cultivated in the night and then you can schmear a fresh application of your homemade deodorant and conquer another day!
Last tip... in the winter it might take a second for the deodorant to "melt" into your pit. 5 seconds between your index finger and your armpit will do the job.
Coconut oil deodorant - so you won't offend your friends or your armpits!
